A trust can pay once, centrally, for every school currently in it — the price is simply the sum of each member school's own rate. One invoice, one decision, instead of asking a dozen schools to each set up their own billing.
A school can still pay for itself if it prefers, or if the trust doesn't handle billing centrally. Whichever's in good standing keeps that school working.

Children already linked keep working exactly as before. You just can't link any more until you upgrade — nothing is hidden or deleted, and we email a reminder when you hit the limit.
You get a 14-day grace period to update your card before new children can no longer be linked. We email a reminder every day the payment's outstanding, with the number of days left.
It's a rolling annual subscription — manage or cancel it any time from Stripe's own billing portal, linked from your Billing page.
Entirely in the UK — the server is in London, and email is sent via Amazon's London (eu-west-2) region. Nothing about a child's records leaves the UK.
By card, via Stripe. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe's own secure checkout — they never touch AllergyHub's servers.
